Van Buren Breakfast - November 15

Postby geniegill » Tue Oct 14, 2008 5:48 pm

The first of what we hope will develop into a monthly breakfast event will be on November 15 in Van Buren at the Western Sizzlin' restaurant. They serve a full breakfast buffet and have made a room available for our use. We will meet at 7:00AM for breakfast and then have a full day of caching in the Van Buren/Fort Smith area. Each person is responsible for their breakfast cost of $5.79 per person plus $1.00 for the waitress and room. A fully stocked ammo can ready to be placed will be a door prize along with a few other goodies. Hope to see a lot of you there! The link to Geocaching.com

I'm going to plan on being there for the first breakfast, as long as my car isn't acting up still. Now I gotta save money for the gas. LOL

Doh..... that's the weekend I'm out of town for a wedding.

I was almost thinking about staying up all night, but Louisiana to Van Buren is too far to go back and forth, hehe.

Just saw that the breakfast event has been published. Think we'll be able to make it. Looking forward to meeting the Ft. Smith area cachers.

Well with the planets aligning just right I was able to make this event. Genie Gill and Jay Gill did a great job. It was great once again to meet some cachers I did not know and see some old friends, even if one of them was ASD. Hope to see and meet more of you soon!

This was the first event I have attended and it was great. Knew a couple of people but enjoyed meeting more. Had a great day of caching afterwards with Cache_me_in and bluesybreeze.
Looking forward to the next event.

Thanks for hosting the event. Sorry I was not able to attend. I look forward to your next one. It sounds like this one was a really great event.
