Since Sugarloaf is in OK and thus covered by a different reviewer, you might be able to get an event listed for this.

"Top of Sugarloaf" - Let's meet at the cache container for lunch...

Since you can't have an event for the "Sole purpose" of finding a cache(s), you'd have to be careful on the wording. Our reviewer interprets the guideline different than most, but...

Are you ##&^%**#$%%%$$ Crazy? Cardinal and myself, along with another cacher from Bentonville have a benchmarking excursion planned for the 24th through the Poteau area. I hope you get a few takers. Are you going to post a note on the cache page? Keep me posted. I will be out of town for a couple of weeks. I may not have internet service, but will try to watch.

Well, crazy or not I would like to go again if not for previous plans. I really hope you get some takers.
What's a six mile hike with 2,000 ft. of vertical relief anyway. Be safe on the journey.
It's an unreal trip! If anyone out there likes an adventure, you better hop on this one.

I'd love to, but that's the only weekend in Oct. that I am not busy and well, really need a break/don't think my wife would let me go out.

Now if you pushed it into the first weekend of Nov. (7-8) I'd probably be able to swing permission there...

Is it still going to be deer hunting season?? That area has a lot of deer camps and is heavily hunted. It's a hike I've wanted to do as well.
