Buyer's Remorse

Postby *TnT* » Sat Sep 22, 2007 5:39 am

Do you have buyer's remorse over your geocaching name? Wish you'd picked something different?

Rhonda and I changed ours over a year ago from "TeamKozmo" to the current "*TnT*", because we had to have Kozmo put to sleep. At that time, there was a link that changed everything for you automatically. But, for the past year or so you couldn't change. If you did create a new name, you had to go back in and re-log all your found caches, etc.

Now, a simple email will change your name and seemlessly change all your past logs to your new name. The link below explains "How-To"

We changed ours from OEnavigator to OEnavigators. Big change I know but it really was as simple as an email. Afterwards the system changed our name over automatically on our our cache logs and profile. It changes everything except for your forum name and the name on the caches you've placed.
