NWAC Rules

This site is provided free of charge for the enjoyment of the NorthWest Arkansas Geocaching community. Geocaching is a family friendly activity so let’s maintain that same atmosphere here. Behave as you would at an Event cache with children present and you will do fine!

Those who offend the community will have their accounts deactivated!

• Identify yourself. If your NWAC username is different from your GC.com nickname, include your nickname in your signature or profile.
Profiles must also include your geographical location and enough information to prove to me you are a real geocacher, not a spammer.

• Be nice. Don’t push, shove, break line or tattle (and no hair pulling).
• Use your inside voice.
• Think before you post. (Don’t drink and post)
• Heated debates are best conducted in private or on another site.
• Ditto for overbearing opinions and manifestos
• TRY to stay on topic.
• Please log in before posting. “Guest” and “Anonymous” posts may be deleted without notice.
• No “game” threads without prior approval.
• One account per individual without approval from "The NWAC Admin". If you have multiple personalities, seek counseling.
• Avatars, signatures, posts and links to other sites should be “G” rated!

1. No flaming, personal attacks or slandering of fellow NWAC members.
2. Be respectful. Treat your fellow NWAC members as you would want to be treated.
3. No discussion on sex, politics or religion.
4. Don't post spoilers about caches. Don't ruin the hunt for other cachers. If they ask for help, then do it via a private message.
5. Don't complain about the placement of caches because of type or terrain. No one makes you hunt the cache, so don't blame someone else because it's not the type of cache that you prefer.
6. Remember this is a game for all ages and types of people. We all have different interests and likes. Enjoy the game, and let others enjoy it too.
7. Stay on topic. Don't clutter a topic with chatter that doesn't pertain to the subject of the page. You can always start your own thread or voice your comments in the General Discussion pages.
8. Any photos posted on the site must be PG-13 rated. Be considerate that the viewer may be underage or offended by your posting.
9. Remember that children often read these forums. Please refrain from the use of foul language in your posts.
10. No Spamming!

If you violate these rules, you may be banned from the forums!!
