Well I finally got my premium membership. I don't have a Palm or anything so paperless is a mute point but I was wondering how you go about downloading a PQ and getting it on your GPS. I use a Magellan 400.

You really have a couple of options:
1. GSAK - www.gsak.net
2. EasyGPS - www.easygps.com

Either will load the waypoints onto your Maggy.

For less than $50, you could go paperless with a simple PDA like the one we first used, the Zire 21.

If you're like we were, printing out all the cache pages and all, you'll easily save that the first year in paper and ink.

Feh..The thirty bucks cost me a camping trip. It'll be a good long time before I can get a Palm or anything.I'm not too worried about it now though. I have to hand choose all our caches anyway so downloading a bunch of caches and "following my GPS" really isn't ever going to happen.

I like the caches along a route feature and I like the mapping options available. Alot! Being able to ignore caches and not see the ones we've found already makes searching a lot easier.

I downloaded easyGPS and I'll give it a try tonight with some possible caches we might hunt tomorrow. Oh yeah, I ran our first PQ and uploaded it to itsnotaboutthenumbers.com. That was fun! :D I can't wait to play with it some more.
