Infamous Travel Bug Prison (I.T.B.P.) GCG1ZA

This was one of the hardest caches I've ever done. (or hope to do.) lol It's not for the faint of heart, but is well worth an effort or two. It took me a total of three tries to get it. Well, good luck in your hunts.

I agree that it is one of the most fabulous caches around. I'd like to see mor caches with this type of challenge around. In the NE corner of the US there is a crazy series called psycho urban caches that really put you to the test. THere is also another cave called Blowing Cave over near Batesville, AR that has a cache in it that no one has found in over a year. Sounds like a challenge to me.

I saw this one last week and planned to save it for my 100th find. I'm shooting to complete it before the end of this year. I used to go spelunking about once a month when I lived in the Atlanta. I've also set a goal to place 10 hides by the end of the year.

From reading some of the finds, it is many yards into a cave with mostly confined spaces and tight holes to crawl through. Some have said they had to crawl through puddles during the wet season. It may be strange but I feel safer in a cave than I do in a parking structure.

We tried this one last week but could not find it, I went as far back as where I had to get on my stomach to be able to get through, that is at the point I turned back, it was too wet. On the way back I found a GREAT spot to hide a ammo can and it wouldn't be seen by would be mugglers.

Waiting to see if someone else finds it then we will go back and try again.
