New game

This is nothing for points, just for the love of geocaching. I was on the way back from Louseyana when I got the idea.

I figured there would be a cache near the Ark, La, Tx border. I broke out the etrex and plotted the point I thought one would be.

I did not have an internet connection to search the coordindate. So then I had to war drive. War driving is another GPS game that techies get into. The short of it is you drive until you find an unsecure wifi spot. So I found the hot spot I was looking for.

I searched on GC from the grid I plotted and low and behold, a cache was three feet from the point I plotted. I am surprised I guessed that close. As a bonus it was a two for one on finds. I won't describe it so it will be preserved for those who want to hunt it.

So if you find yourself in a spot that you think would be begging for a cache and you don't have the coords, you now have another game you can play.

Then of course, I had to drive and get the Ark, Ok and Mo border to complete the set. On a side note, I then checked the other three corners where AR meets two other states, those points are under water.

And on another side note, I saw another place for a ROCK awesome cache. I got a Nuvi 285WT for Christmas to compliment the etrex. So now I really roam all over the place in the commander. I found two other places to put a cache and will put one out soon. But back to the main point. I saw this place and had to pull over and check it out.

It is on private property and the owner was available. He said his brother was already going to place a cache in that spot. He told me I could put one there later if his brother does not get around to it.

The good news that either by me or somebody else, these is going to be a pretty awesome new cache in BC.

My first entry into the CPC is going to be less than spectacular but I think those who find it will get a laugh out of it. The rock cache, if I get to place it, will make up for it later.
