dentful1 has organized a get together for any cachers interested in going after his "Cachin On The Caddo" series.

"This float trip will take place in Glenwood, Arkansas on Saturday, March 22nd. We will float a 7.2 mile stretch of the Caddo River. 8:00 am Register at Caddo River Camping and Canoe Rental, coordinates are:
N 34* 19.183
W 093* 33.185

8:45 am Meet below Rental Office on River to load up gear.
We will be getting on the River about 9:00 am to begin our adventure. This float will take the biggest part of the day (5-7 hours) depending on water levels and how many times we stop. You will need to bring DRY clothes to leave in your vehicle. You WILL get wet, bring towels in a dry bag or trash bag zip tied. This is March and the water is still cool. You may want to bring snacks and drinks in a cooler. If we get 5 or more canoes you can purchase your rental at the Group Rate of $30 per canoe. Kayaks are $25. If you have a canoe and want the Rental to shuttle your canoe they will for a small fee.

The event was denied at groundspeak but everyone is getting together anyway. For everyone that also Terracaches the event is TC9FQ.

If anyone is interested in going my oldest son and I plan on making the float and can take anyone interested the rest of the way from Waldron. We have room for a couple of people or three if you're really friendly. It promises to be a great time!

I'm prob going and I'm going to try to round up MBell, OMG, TheCLB and Windstalker. It sounds like alot of fun. We will be coming from Fort Smith and we can caravan down if anyone is interested.
