Flash Mob Event November

Postby *TnT* » Thu Sep 04, 2008 3:52 pm

PodCacher discussed that the next flashmob was going to be in Nov 8, 10am PST. I was wondering where in Arkansas it might be this time. Never been to one but dont want to miss out on this one.

Copied this from the ArkGeo forums.

Mark? You gonna do this one?

Basically, its a 15 minute event. At the appointed time, everyone comes from nowhere to meet at the designated place. The log book is signed, a meal is served (tootsie rolls, or something similar), then just as quickly, everyone disperses.

Gratefulldad hosted the WWFM - Northwest Arkansas last November. Go here for what went down last year.

Those Flash Mob events are just the coolest. Someone should host one in Fort Smith.

arrrrrrrghh.............. us night walkers don't do 10am, LOL. Anyone wanna volunteer to call me and wake me up that morning? hehehe.

Well, that's assuming it's up in this area and I don't have to be up at the crack of dawn to start driving.

I might volunteer to bring the meal :)

Way to go Mark. It'll be good to see everyone again. Once the event is published and we all can see where it's gonna be, maybe we can do an "after event event" for all the newcomers to the sport.

I'll sign up for Log Book Assistant :) Let me know what I need to do, I'll make log sheets if you want me to. How many do you think we'll need?

Hopefully, you'll be awake before then, as the event is from noon to 12:15.
