Educational event question

If it's about geocaching -- Let's hear it

Educational event question

Postby Ashallond » Wed Aug 31, 2011 8:23 am

Would there be interest in an event that discusses how to create/work some of the non-traditional types of caches (puzzle, projection, earthcache, multis, etc) and also GSAK and such?

Call it Geocaching University or something like that?

I'm scheming.

I think there are lots of people who would like help in these subject areas. There are always people struggling with these things.

Have you tried GSAK 8 yet? Talk about sweet. It uses the new groundspeak API. Still in Beta, but available for download.

haven't tried gsak 8 yet. I figured I'd try to get a few other people to maybe do a small lesson and we could have a few classrooms set up at my high school and we could either do simultaneous classes or do them all in a row. still debating which structure if we get some good feedback. Tossed this on arkgeo as well.

Ashallond I would be willing to help with some gsak basics and some triangulations puzzles.
