Computer Question

Postby Jffok » Tue Apr 07, 2009 6:42 am

I need some help with this one. I can sign onto this site just fine on my home computer but cannot sign on with my laptop. On the laptop my email and stuff is all set up the same. I can access geocaching.com and other sites but when I try to log onto NWAC I get the message that my user name is not valid. Any suggestions out there?

My best guess would be that some of the security settings / firewall settings are different.

Are you using the same OS both places? Same provider?

I would have to suggest that you try deleting history and cookies on the laptop. Really, that's the only thing I can think of that could be causing this issue.

Yep, clearing out your browsers cache like TNT suggested should work.

Well this post is from the laptop. All I did was change my password and it let me log in. The message I was getting said username not valid but it must have been something to do with the password. Anyway for now it is working. Thanks for the suggestions and if it messes up again I will delete and start over with it..
