3 G Iphone problem

Postby Jffok » Thu Sep 22, 2011 10:03 pm

My geocaching apps messed up. I tried various ways to unlock it to no avail. So decided I would just uninstall the app and re install it.

Now the big problem is: I have lost this app somewhere in cyber space and the new geocaching app says "Application Not Compatible""
This application requires the IPhone 4.0 Software Update."

So I need help in getting the app I had back on my phone. It is not time for an update for me.

Can anyone out there give me some ideals.

Thanks.

Groundspeak broke the old version that runs on iOS 3.x.x by no longer supporting the API, and oh yeah, NO NOTICE.

good thing I was planning on getting a new phone when the iphone 5 comes out in October.

I was able to do an update on my 3 G phone and then download the new geocaching apps that requires the 4.0 software. Took a while but finally got it done.

i tried that a while ago, but it never finished the iOS update.

I'm just going to make do with my GPSr until the new phone comes out mid october.
